Fundraising for Happy Tales Humane

Advocating for Happy Tales
By Jonah Foster

Pets are adorable, it’s a fact of life. That is, if they are cared for. Imagine a little, perfect Golden Retriever puppy…cute, right? Now that same puppy is homeless and neglected with matted fur, gravel imbedded in his paws and crying. That is where Happy Tales Humane steps in.

Happy Tales is a no-kill shelter in Franklin, serving all of Middle Tennessee. They are “providing humane, no-kill options for homeless and neglected animals”. That Golden Retriever…he’s safe now.
The seventh grade Happy Tales group is raising money and hand-me-downs for Happy Tales.

Remember, hand-me-downs are not just for humans! There are lots of animals in temporary residence who need blankets, toys, collars, leashes and carriers. And they really don’t mind if they are gently used! You can donate at Micah any Sunday during Religious School. And watch for announcements about our Spring Dog Wash Fundraiser!

Thank you for your support!!
